my beautiful granddaughter and her parents came over for dinner. One of the best thing about having a son who is a chef is that he likes to cook. So guess who made dinner? But the best thing of the night was that lil R came over to see us. Would you believe she was all smiles while she was here? Well besides a few photos of her being serious when she realized I was taking her photo. But I love this one. I love the way she's looking right into the camera with her beautiful big eyes, here they look brown but I swear there is some green in them too.
Since I left the hat on Mr Potatohead from the day before my lovely daughter decided that he needed a face to go with his hat. And of course she wanted me to take a picture of it.
I made these little hats the night before. They're newborn sizes, I used Mr Potatohead as a guide for the size, did you realize that it was the perfect size for a newborn hat? Nope me either, until I turned it upside down and measured it. About the size of a newborn head...score! I've been making these silly hats because it help me to keep my wrist relaxed an flexible. (I have a few if you want to buy one. LOL)
The girl has such blue, blue eyes. with her white skin and dark blond hair they just seem that much bluer. The look she's giving makes you wonder what she's thinking but I'm pretty sure it was just a blank look cause I told her to look at me so I could take her photo....or maybe it was "oh gosh, not again with the camera momma."
Not exactly sure what this is. *I* think Edd said she was making a key chain or something like that. I had her stop doing it so I could take a photo of it cause I thought it looked neat the way it was before she added too much stuff to it.
I was doing a photo session and I had to stop and take a few photos of this little rose hips. I will honestly tell you that i didn't know that that is what they were called. Someone had to tell me and then I went and looked to get more pictures of them. If you don't prune your roses this is what happens. All I knew at the time was that I thought they were really cool looking and wanted to take a few photos of them.
My sister gave me this little angel a few years ago for Christmas. I never ended up putting it with the other Christmas stuff. I like being able to look at it and think of my sister. I would miss it if I put it way with all the other holiday stuff, besides it was an ornament and one of my girls broke the halo off so I can't exactly hang on the tree now can I. So it keeps me company as I sit at my computer watching over me.
Put them up on Craig's list gotten a few calls about them, these are the photos I put in to show what I had to sell. Guess people didn't like the idea of spending $50 buck each for them.
A friend on facebook was saying how beautiful the full moon was in her part of the world. I told her I was jealous because it been rain, overcast and foggy for the last few days. But nope, everyone was saying how pretty and big it looked so I took a photo of what I saw from my back deck. Eerie and foggy it was. looking back on this photo it is very though even for a dark, eerie and foggy night. The light is coming from some street lights in the distances.
Baby hats, some I made, some my mom made, some my daughter made and one her boyfriend's mother made. Just need to find babies to wear them so I can take photos of them in them.
Well he finally figured it out and realized that he could climb up ~and down~ from the fireplace hearth. Happy, happy, joy, joy. Here's the boy doing a little dance before his momma and/or poppa could get to him and take him down, again and again and again.
Either my cup is to small or replaced my cup with something from their tea party set....hmmmmm I think I need to find a bigger cup, something that'll fit a tea bag and the cinnamon stick.
Not sure what she was trying to do. BUT I do know that she got her butt stuck in the grocery cart when she decided to see if she fit. Poor T she couldn't get herself out without some help from me. Me, being the mean momma I had to take a photo of her before getting her out. Poor, poor baby.
drinking red wine at a bar that doesn't sell a lot of it. After one wine glass full of it Hubby got to drink it from a beer glass. 4 glasses like this later he was a bit tipsy cough:drunk:cough usually a wine glass has about 6 oz in it, these must have had about 10 oz and the best part was they were the same price. He went home happy.
Lukuis needed to go to a new home this day and T gave him a hug goodbye. This photo makes my heart hurt just looking at it. He's with a new family now that is giving him as much love as he got here. We're really going to miss him. :*(
