batman throws like a girl

As I was looking to see where my youngest daughter went to playing in the house, I happened to see my neighbors play ball in the street.  I noticed that batman was playing with them....and batman throws like a girl!  LOL  Granted he's not quiet four, but I just don't think he has a future in the big leagues if he keeps throwing like this. ;-)~

Edd and the butterfly blush

I guess I've taken lots of photos of the butterfly plant but it has so interesting and things just happen around it.   Edd wanted to pick dead flowers off the bush ~I don't know why, she's 5, why else would she want to do that?  Seeing her behind the plant made it a cool picture.  I love how you can see part of her blue, blue eye.

Love how little boy the play with trucks!  Drive it around and around, around the sand pit until something gets it the way.  The best thing to do is drive around until it come up to something that won't move, than move on and find something else to play with.

day at the park

Love spending time at the park with my young daughters.  This park is really cool, it has a stream that runs through it but it's been turned off because of the drought.  They finally got running again after 2 years!  The girls had a great time playing in the water.

Across from million dollar homes

Yep, that's what is across from a multi-million dollar subdivision entrance.  A small falling apart house covered in bushes, vines and trees.  Makes you wonder what they ~the people who live in the subdivision~ think when they see it?  Or do you think that they don't even notice?  What stories that house could say if it could talk.

first day of school

This is always an exciting time.  The first day of school, not only that, but the first day of KINDERGARTEN!!!  All the butterflies and happiness rolled into one.  Not knowing what to expect, happy and scared at the same time.  Do you remember your first day of school?

Mad Housewife

I found a chardonnay that I like and the winery name is something that made me want to pick up a bottle,  Mad Housewife.  I find it's a nice smooth chardonnay and I usually don't drink red wine.  I picked up a bottle because the name made me giggle and it was on sale...plus if I buy 6 bottles of wine from this company I can get a free t-shirt sporting their name, love the idea of wearing a t-shirt that states I'm a Mad Housewife.  ;-)

I like the chardonnay and and if this is any indicator I might just have to try another kind or two...or 3.  I'm not much of a red wine drinker, but I do think this wine goes well with homemade lasagna and salad.  And I'm sipping on another glass as I type.

I made this dress that Edd's wearing.  It's going to be her dress for the first day of school.  I asked her to pose so I could take her photo in it.  She grabbed the princess wand and started posing.  LOL It was too cute.  Here she is being a little fairy princess, that just lost her crown (it's at her feet) looking like she is granting a wish to something/one.

just a few crayons

My neighbor, Lisa and her daughter decided to clean out some of the stuff they weren't using any more and give it to my girls.  Needless to say they loved all the stuff that they got, especially all the crayons.  These are just a few of the crayons that Edd loves to color with, she had some in her princess box and MORE in a large container, this are only her "special ones" that she likes to color with right now.  Thanks Lisa, every time E&T color I think of you! :-)

Since she cut her hair yesterday I decided to get her ears pierced to make sure that people know she was a girl ~like anyone would have a question with her in dresses all the time.  Doesn't she look proud with her new ear bobs?

She REALLY cut her hair!!

I love my daughter, I love her hair.  Such shiny bright sunny yellow hair!  She thought so too, she's always brushing it and wanting others to brush her hair.  SO WHY DID SHE CUT IT!!!  Oh I was/am mad, but it's okay...it-will-grow-back!  T still is a beautiful girl just without her long bright sunny hair.   Do you think she looks like a boy?

T in the baby bath

The only way to give a toddler a bath with a cast on her leg is in a baby bathtub. T loved it, it was only her in the bath and she could use the faucet to wash her hair.  She loves having water pour on her head by a faucet of some sort.
