Ladybug

I went outside to find something to take a photo of.  Turned out that the best thing was a ladybug on the Japanese maple in Nelyn's garden.  Today is his "angel day" I really can't call it an anniversary because I think of that word as a happy word.  Some days my heart overflows with sadness for not be able to see him grow up.  And little things like a ladybug on a leaf can make the sadness just a little bit lighter.

Oh and I just heard that a friend had her baby today, so now along with the tears of today I have a smile to add to the day. :-)

to sick

got sick with food poisoning and had to go to the hospital.  Did pick a camera or do anything for Easter.

Like father, like son.  Sitting down to play "Fallen Earth" a computer game, baby H thought it was so cool to watch as his poppa played, it kept him quiet for a while.  Must be the colors and movement that he liked.

orange crocs

Orange crocs and a sparkly green and purple dress.  Got to love little girls fashion sense.  Yep, she was happy to walk around the house in something so miss matched.  Too cute for words....that is until she gets to be around 15 and wants to wear that kind of stuff outside the house. Oy vay!

Oh and I made the dress for Edd's when she was in a wedding a couple years ago, I have a hard time throwing/giving pretty dress away that I've made, it's a good thing my girls like to dress up!

raffle tickets

So I posted on facebook all the 41 baskets that was being raffled off at my daughters' school.  I had 5 people from around the US and Germany (CA, MI, PA, MD and a sister station in Germany) who wanted me to put money on some of the baskets.  I put about $150 in ten different baskets for them and me, hoping that one of us would win.  I had to write my name on each ticket, did I mention that each ticket was only a dollar?  Lots of writing my name and phone number over and over again.  I also wrote each person's initials on a ticket, so BA wanted $35 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 35 times.  ND wanted $30 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 30 times, SV wanted $10 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 10 times and JB wanted $25 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 25 times and can't forget ML in Germany who wanted $10 dollars worth of tickets on the American Girl doll basket, she said it was for her daughter.

GUESS WHAT!! my sister in MD won!  ~the bitch!  ;-)~ LOL~ She won one of the baskets I wanted.  Being the honest person that I am I called her up and told her she won.  She started giggle and laughing about it, even after I called her a bitch. LOL 

So since yesterday the photo was boring I'm posting photos of the tickets and the basket she won in and out of the wrapping...now I just have to get to the post office and mail it out to her. 

Don't you wish you won her basket?  Each of the 41 baskets has at least $200 worth of stuff in them and going up form there, up to $4000+.  WOW is all I can say!

yellow daisies

As I was waiting for my youngest daughter to get home from school I thought I'd enjoy the weather and wait outside.  I look to my left and smile, got up and when and got my camera.  I planted flowers and I am happy to say that I like the way it looks.  In a few weeks the daisies will fill out and it will look even better.  Ahhhh, yes I like flowers in the spring time.

Ever just look at a fire hydrant?  And wonder why it's in a certain place?  There's one at a busy intersection around and it makes me wonder why it's there.  Not many houses are around it so it makes me wonder if it's ever been used for a car accident or was it put there years ago when they town was very small and there were houses around it corner.

 This is what T was doing most of the time as I was reading them their bedtime book, getting her doggy in this baby basket thingy.  Not sure why, but she was happy that she did it herself.  Oh and if you're wondering the book we read was Don't Take Your Snake for a Stroll by Karin Ireland, cute story.

T wanted to be with me, but she wanted to play tea party so as I sat by my computer and watched her play.  Oh and by the way the tea was really sweet when she decide to share a cup with me.  ;-)~

I'm...not...going!

I'M...NOT...GOING!!  Can you not see it in his face?  As we were leaving the park this boy's father and brother were already at their car and waiting for him to get there.  It was so cute seeing him stomping his foot than crossing his arms and take his stand.  I couldn't help but to snap his photo.  After a bit when we were driving away I did see him at his dad's car, getting in without any problem.

T's 3 boots

Yep, T got another boot a few days ago.  Thought I'd take a photo of them all together to see how she's grown since the first one.  I can't bring myself to get rid of them.  In away I hope that she'll thank me for keeping them when she won't ever need one again in the future.

Florida cranes

just it's mostly an animal week so far.  I have always thought cranes were beautiful birds, very elegant, regal almost.  Never really got a chance to take photos of them this close without them flying away.  So I am happy to admit that I really proud this photo.

It was a little windy at the beach today.  Doesn't matter to a 6 yr old, they'll still run in the surf and play in the sand...that is if their hair stays out of their eyes.

Went to the beach but decided not to post a photo of the ocean, instead I looked up and took a photo of a pelican in flight.  pretty cool, huh?  Beautiful clear day.

thought it was cool when T pointed out the gecko in the bath room window.  Good thing there was a screen or one of us would have been screaming as it ran across the wall.  LOL

dog tired

This is the way I felt after driving 10 hours or so when it should have only taken 6-8 hours.  Traffic sucks and trying to take detours and getting lost is no fun.  BUT the best thing is we made it!!  This is my fiend's dog Mocha who we stayed with for a few days in Florida.

Not sure what this bumper sticker means but it DID catch my eye and so since I had my camera with me I had to take a photo of it.  I love coffee, but I think spoons are more then just for stirring coffee, eat ice cream with a spoon is the first thing that come to mine mind.

My husband didn't either.  Must be the artist in me.  As soon as I saw them I laughed out loud and thought prime colors, yellow, blue, and red.  And if you notice the first car is white and the last is black.  The only colors you really need, the rest is just a variation of mixing the prime colors.

Chair and table

I walked home after dropping off the car to get some work done on it and decided to walk home.  I been wanting to see this area were a builder just left it after not being able to sell, it's been ferule for 4 years now.  This is one of the things that wasn't torn down.  It's on old large shed or a metal barn.  Just about everything was taken out expect this chair and table.  I thought it made a really cool photo with the light streaming in from the window.  Makes you wonder why someone would put a chair and table in the middle of a large old metal barn.
