an eagle and a flag

yes, yes, yes, I had to do a photo of something very American for this day. I remember that I had a little flag and a beanie-baby eagle.  I thought it was fitting to put the two of them together and take a photo (or 6) of them together.  What do you think?  Is it a nice tribute for Sept 11?

dark haired beauty

on my facebook I put out a shout out that I was looking for a dark haired beauty and this beauty took me up on it.  I'm very happy with the way they all turned out, the weather was great and the model is beautiful.  She was such a joy to take photos of.

WTH?

not sure how this got on my arm but I know who put it there.  Thanks to T, she knows that I love wearing bracelets and she decide to make this for me and put it around my wrist.  Cute but I think not.  LOL

happy hair

I wanted to see if T's hair was long enough to put in pigtails since she cut earlier this year.  AND IT was!! She told me her hair was happy, she had happy hair and Ms Tiffany, her teacher would wove, wove, WOVE IT!  She was all smiles with her hair in pigtails and as soon as she got on the bus she told her bus driver she had "happy hair!"  Alas, Ms Tiffany said it didn't last long, but that's okay because she had the biggest smile on her face while it was up and throughout the day because she went to school with happy hair!

momma kisses

yep my beautiful daughter and her son...her sunshine of her life, watches E&T some days and as I was sitting at the computer she was kissing her boy.  I pulled out my camera and started snapping away.  A mother and the love she has for her child is such a wonderful thing!!\

My birthday cake

yep, it was my birthday and I'm 26....again!  Hey everybody stops at 29, but me I have to a bit different.  Lets see if you can figure out how old I really am...hehehehe  And friends stopped by and gave me a bottle of bubbly and flowers!  Nice!  All in all it was a great birthday!

It was a rainy wet night for a wedding reception.  It was nice that the rain held off until after the wedding and getting photos in.  :-D

Monfort's fine art gallery

I can dream, right?  Some days I like to dream that my photos will be in a special exhibit in a fine art gallery.  People will come and buy my work and I'll make lots of money from the sale.  Dreams are good!  Dreaming is funny....until reality rears it's ugly head.

sick kiddos

My little ones were sick from school on this day.  Poor babies, less than 4 weeks into school and they got sick.  Edd stayed home from school and about 20 minutes after I call the clinic where I'm at the school calls to tell me that T needs to come because she has a fever and I needed to get her and take her home.

wedding dress

not the bride's but her daughter's dress. Just the back because it looks so cute with the big bows tying it together, plus she's not walking yet so it was kind of hard to get a good pix of the front of the dress.  The wedding is Sunday and not only did I make Kiki's dress, but I'll be the wedding photog too.  YAY!  And if you are wondering if I'll post any of the photos here or on my bluebox photo blog I will.  Keep posted.

Wednesday morning walk

Isn't this a beautiful thing to see in the morning for my Wednesday morning walks?  In the last few weeks I've seen lots of bunnies, but on this day when I decide to bring no bunnies, bummer.  Oh well it's such a nice quiet walk that I know next week I'll be seeing all the bunnies hopping about.  I only wish I could do walk it more often then one day a week but this is the only day where I don't have to get the kiddos on the bus then drive for 1 hour first thing in the morning.

new road to a subdivision?

I *think* they're ~whom ever they are~ going to be putting in an new subdivision soon.  Which sucks because the road is always packed.  And I bet that they'll be big house in the $600,000+ range on tiny lots.  Oh joy more overpriced homes that people with money attitude will be able to complain about how it's so hard getting into their subdivision when they should have thought of that before buying/building.

Started to empty the dishwasher and who should come over and say he wanted to help.  LOL  I wonder if he'll be so helpful in a few years when he's told to empty the dishwasher.

water marker well be low normal

We went to a different lake and you really can tell that it hasn't rained in a few days weeks with this water marker showing the water line below...well below...what is was normal. We all had a good time, I just kept looking at the water marker and thinking if the water was suppose to X be we'd be well over our heads in the water.  Or as we where sitting on the beach ~where I took this photo~ we would have been in the water not yards for the lake.  :-/

morning balloon

what a beautiful sight on this Wednesday morning.  As we were coming out of the house we heard this whooshing sound and look up, it was the sound of the fire and heat going into the balloon.  We leave the house around 6:50 to catch the bus and it made me wonder what time did they have to get up to be so high in the sky.  The girls got all excited about it and told me to get my camera so I could take a photo of it.  Good thinking!

fabrics

went looking for some fabric for a costume for T.  She wants to be a fairy for Halloween, this are the ones that I didn't get.  I really don't like the peachy-pink and the others just weren't the colors I was looking for.  bummer....but I did find some cute fabric a bit later....will post the finished product if you would like to see it.  I need you to say so.

There are times when I love taking my camera with me everywhere.  I was pulling out of the post office and saw this pulling out too.  Love the big four wheeler and the little trike bike, I guess when mommy/daddy are off on their big bike the little one will be riding on theirs too.
