 I love my family!  One of my many cousins knows that I love coffee and photography he brought me not one but 2 of this wonderful travel coffee mugs.  And the deal is next time I get up to Michigan I need to bring both mugs so that we can drink some coffee from these great cup!

 And yet another day where we did something beside the pool and the beach.  On this day we went to the Lost Colony and the Elizabeth Gardens.  A cool thing is they wanted to take a photo of the kids for some advertisement for the Lost Colony and the first one is what suppose to go in the local paper. 

 We had so much fun at the Gardens walking around and being silly taking in the beauty of the gardens.  I also throw in a photo of me that my sister took.

Yep, that's what we did we chilled out at the park on a very warm day, you could almost call it HOT!  We're selling our house and needed to be away for it for 4 hours as 3-5 realtor showed the house.  Good thing it was not a cold yucky day.

lil angel by my computer

My sister gave me this little angel a few years ago for Christmas.  I never ended up putting it with the other Christmas stuff.  I like being able to look at it and think of my sister. I would miss it if I put it way with all the other holiday stuff, besides it was an ornament and one of my girls broke the halo off so I can't exactly hang on the tree now can I.  So it keeps me company as I sit at my computer watching over me.

he's escaped!

After getting his dirty diaper taken off he takes off so he doesn't have to get a clean diaper on his little tushy!  H thought it was great fun to sit in the hall and wait for his momma to come get him.  But his Nana (me) just grabbed her camera and took a few photos of him.  To get him to smile we pretended to sneeze.  Got to love the sound of baby's laughter one of the happiest sounds in the world!!!

or it could be called "cousins being silly."  LOL  Just before we left to go back home we got all the cousins together to get in a few more photos.  And of course there was one or two didn't want their picture taken so I say make a silly face.  I think they did a really good job at it, don't you?  LOL

I was lucky enough to be the photographer for my uncle's wedding and this is one of my favorite photos of the wedding.  You can see the love in her eyes as she looks at him along with the laughter that he seems to have a great knack to do.  Congrats Uncle Phill and Aunt Sue!

Love this photo.  Hot August night, a bonfire out in the country what more could you want.  Love how it looks like he's stirring the fire in some magical way.  Love the way the colors play, the shades of browns and gold are the only colors.  To me something is magical about this photo.  Think I like it?

day with the family

since I've been lax ~very lax~ in taking photos and updating I thought I would treat you all with a bunch today.  Got to spent the day with the family, from our oldest to our youngest grandkid and everyone in between.  It was a house full at dinner time.  It started off with making a pork butt around 10 o'clock am and everyone one sitting down to eat at 5:30.  Afterwards swimming, than hanging out and talking awhile...with me snapping photos.  LOL   Great day all around!
