Toad in the hole it's what's for breakfast.  It's the new thing at our house and Edd loves making and eating them.  Each time we make one it's done with a different cookie cutter.

 We went and brought some donuts, I told each girl that since there were a dozen we could each get 4.  T really too me serious about it and took to taking a few bites out of all of hers as soon as we got home.  Next time I'm going to be more clear and tell her that would be we can each get up to 4 as long as we don't eat them all in one sitting.  LOL

I bought some cupcakes on sale and as we were eating them I decided ~or maybe it was lil H who decided~ that he need some too.  Gave him a bite or two of mine.  No question about it, he's going to dive right into his 1st year birthday cake with all the gusto of kid with candy.  Can you not see the "yum sugar!" look in he's eyes as he's "eating" his piece of the cupcake?

we had dinner with fries and after I grabbed a hand full and put them on one of the girls' plate one was standing straight up!  LOL  I told them too look they both laughed and say "take a picture of it momma!  take a picture!"  too cute.  So thanks to my daughters the photo of the day is one french fry standing up while the rest are just laying about.  ;-)~

Thanksgiving Turkey

I love Thanksgiving day. I love it even more when I don't have to cook.  I love it even more when I don't have to cook and the chef ~my son~ comes to my house and cooks the food.  Hell even better when he brings the turkey too!  Here it is "resting" by the sink after he took it out of the brine it's been soaking in for 3 days.  Oh and it was really, really yummy and well worth the wait.
