summer sky

 I love the look of a summer sky with clouds.  I love how blue the sky looks, the color of the clouds against the sky.  The wind as it moves across my body and the heat of the day.  Standing still and feeling the world move makes me feel at peace....it's even better when you're in the country or mountains, but on this day I was standing on my back deck enjoy it all.

As I was going to clinics this morning I was stopped at a red light and saw it.  It was too pretty to not take the photo.  I took 2 shots and was going to take another when I heard the car behind me honk their horn because the light turned green.  I guess they needed to get to work or something.  But can you see the sunlight on the cross?

look up in the sky

Have I say it before; only dreamers and artists ever look up?  When was the last time you took a look at the sky?  for me it's just about everyday, not to see what the weather is doing or wonder why but to also to take deep breathe and feel my lungs with the wonder of the world.  I did just this as I came home and noticed how pretty they sky looked just before sunset.

Moon, moon, moon shinning bright...moon, moon, moon my night light!  I remembered that it was a full moon tonight.  I went out and took about 20 photos without a tripod and I got 3 good ones.  I am so happy!!  Do you know how hard it is to take a picture of the moon without a flash and a tripod?

hanging shoes

Why do people do this?  I think it's neat to see...out of no where...there are shoes...hanging from the lines/wires above the road.  How do the get time up there?  :-?

fuzzy moon

I tried. really I did...I tried to take a photo of the moon between the trees but it just wasn't working out.  I took about 20 shots and this was the best.  I guess it would have been better if I used a tripod and not my chest to keep it steady.

independence day

independence day just like millions of Americans we too went to see fireworks.  I took about 125 photos of them ~got to love digital!~ of just the fireworks.  LOL  I picked the best one of the night....or I think so.  I took so many and some of them came out great, too many to choose from.  This one kind of looks cool with just black and white in it.

sorry I'm getting a bit lacked

I've been kind of not keeping up with my daily blog.  I'm going to try to do better.  This morning on the way to school I thought this was a really cool shot to take a bird sitting on a traffic light, just sitting there as I was running late.  Ahhh to be free as a bird, some days that seem so very nice. :-D

My parents were visiting and they left really early Monday and before they left I had to get a photo of them with my 2 young daughters.  Everyone all around had a wonderful visit!

hot air balloon

Today as I was walking out the front door I look up and there is a couple of hot air balloons in the sky.  I call to the kiddos and E runs outside to take a closer look.  Why do hot air balloons in the evening sky make us smile?

at the park

Boy, I like going to the park on a pretty day.  There were clouds in the sky and the sun wasn't really shining and it looks like rain, but it was warm and dry, the first really nice day of the year.  The chalk was in the hands of little kids and the blossoms were blooming on the trees.  What more could you ask for on a nice afternoon at the park?

Didn't know what to take a picture of today.  Brought my camera with me but just didn't want to bring it out.  I had to go get it from my car and saw the moon.  What the hell.

It looks like rain

for the last week I've had a headache ~less then a migraine but more then just a headache.  I get weather "headaches."  No fun with the weather is always changing.  Thanks to some on-line friends telling me about vitamin B (B6, B12 and Biotin) that seems to help and believe it or not Botox helps too.  I think I need to get it done again, the pain is coming back like before.....anyhoo I thought I would take a picture of the clouds.  Making it feel like a cold weather blanket covering the world.  It looks like it's going to rain and when it does, it will make my head feel like the pressure has vanished!
