ready to donate!

So they did it, they got their hair cut and it looks super cute.  T wanted her's cut too so after a bit of running around we went and got it done. 

The back story is I have a friend on facebook and her best friend's daughter has brain cancer, I was looking at her pictures on her page prayers for caryn and Edd asked why she didn't have any hair.  I told her and she said she wanted to cut her hair and give it to her.  Awww.....how sweet, this was a few months ago and she's been talking about it since.  She wants to cut her hair and give it to her.  I told her that Caryn already got a wig.  But she wouldn't give up so we went to the hair salon and got it cut.

 Edd got about 10-11 inches to give and because Edd was doing it T had wanted to donate hers too.  She was able to get 9 inches.  As you can see Edd has so much hair than T, it looks like Edd's hair looks 4 times more than T's but that doesn't matter because they both feel good about donating.  I'm so proud of them.  Oh and this isn't Edd's first time donating her hair, she's done it before.

I think I'll send it to Pantene.

donating her hair again

Edd came to me after her bath and told me she wanted to get her hair cut and donate it so someone could have her hair who has cancer and lost their hair to Chemo.  She because she doesn't like combing/brushing it anymore. She's donating it again. It's too pretty not to have it on someone's head. Here she is before we got it cut.

happy hair

I wanted to see if T's hair was long enough to put in pigtails since she cut earlier this year.  AND IT was!! She told me her hair was happy, she had happy hair and Ms Tiffany, her teacher would wove, wove, WOVE IT!  She was all smiles with her hair in pigtails and as soon as she got on the bus she told her bus driver she had "happy hair!"  Alas, Ms Tiffany said it didn't last long, but that's okay because she had the biggest smile on her face while it was up and throughout the day because she went to school with happy hair!

yep, when you have girly girls in the house if you sit too long you may end up with girly things in your hair/fur before long.  That's what happen to these too.  LOL

hair brushing

T loves brushing hair and she found someone who loves to get her hair brushed.  The were like this for about 15 minutes, that's a long time for a not even 2 year old.

Yep, a year a go her momma was preggers with her and waiting impatiently for her to get here.  How time flies.  And now look at the little beauty....so big and getting into everything BUT reassuring herself by coming back to her momma to make sure she's still there for her....always baby girl, always!  A mother's love never ends!

She REALLY cut her hair!!

I love my daughter, I love her hair.  Such shiny bright sunny yellow hair!  She thought so too, she's always brushing it and wanting others to brush her hair.  SO WHY DID SHE CUT IT!!!  Oh I was/am mad, but it's okay...it-will-grow-back!  T still is a beautiful girl just without her long bright sunny hair.   Do you think she looks like a boy?

bad hair day

We all have them!  The day when you just put your hair up and don't care....that is until you think about going out of the house for something.  Then it's O-M-G! I need a haircut...bad, or a pair of scissors or just your husband's hair clippers to shave it all off.  I think today is one of those days for me.  LOL  And you lucky people get to see it.  Bah-hahaha that is my photo of the day, my hair.  I'm having a bad hair day. :-)~

T's hair

Yesterday my youngest daughter cut the top of her hair.  She has such pretty blond hair, she didn't do such a bad (good?) job as her sister E but she did cut her hair.  Oh it was/is not pretty but there is nothing I could do besides shave her hair down to where it is the shortest...and that's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.  LOL  Here is the little hair ball of her hair that she cut.  Mind you, she has very straight fine blond hair.
