I so love this photo; it just makes me want to reach in and give her a hug and tell her it's going to get better. What do you think? Does it move you as much as it moves me? does it pull on your heart strings?

a path in springtime

Here's another photo from my photo class we had to take about 3-5 photos for this project and layer them.  I couldn't upload that one so here's just one of them.  It really came out cool and I wish I could take another class or two on photography just because you can never learn too much of anything!  :-)

did a photo shoot and I had to drag my daughters with me.  They wanted to dress up and use the props I had, not like the couple I was photography.  I have to say that this one is my favorite one of the day.  It might even be one of my favorite photo of my daughter Edd.  She is so very photogenic.

While we were there we just didn't lay about on the beach we did do a few things.  One day we went to Bodies Island Lighthouse, nice bit of history to learn about.  Not only that also a great place to see nature and take photos.

Rose hips

I was doing a photo session and I had to stop and take a few photos of this little rose hips.  I will honestly tell you that i didn't know that that is what they were called.  Someone had to tell me and then I went and looked to get more pictures of them.  If you don't prune your roses this is what happens.  All I knew at the time was that I thought they were really cool looking and wanted to take a few photos of them.

baby spiders

the day after thanks giving I stand on my deck enjoying the weather and look down and see lots of baby spiders crawling around.  I know there are a few out there who would grab the broom quicker than the camera, but not me I took about 10 shots of those little buggers!  But you know I've always thought that they hatched in the spring, won't most of them die because of the cold?

snow princess

Edd wanted to be a snow princess for Halloween.  After I finished her dress I took photos of her and she raised her arms and said something about let it snow.  So now she thinks she's made it snow up in the northeast.  Yep, it's all her fault.  LOL

gloomy day at the lake

I was suppose to have a photo shoot on this day but the weather was gloomy and rainy so we rescheduled it for another day.  I decided that I would go to the Lake Lanier and see what it looked like.  I'm glad I did!  It was so pretty, quiet and calm.  No one was there or it seemed like it, the area where was at seemed like I was on a movie set somewhere in Scotland....okay if it's in the 70* in Oct, but you get the picture with this photo.  Mystical.

Wednesday morning walk

Isn't this a beautiful thing to see in the morning for my Wednesday morning walks?  In the last few weeks I've seen lots of bunnies, but on this day when I decide to bring no bunnies, bummer.  Oh well it's such a nice quiet walk that I know next week I'll be seeing all the bunnies hopping about.  I only wish I could do walk it more often then one day a week but this is the only day where I don't have to get the kiddos on the bus then drive for 1 hour first thing in the morning.

Rocks on the beach

Got to love the beach, even a beach on a lake.  We went to the lake and as I was hanging out at the water's edge I look to my left and see this really pretty rock grouping.  I wonder what child did this...or even a person young at heart or with a playful side.
