3 boots and 2 shoes

How fast they grow. You forget because you see your kiddos every day but some things make you take a moment to reflex on how much they've grown.  Here's T with her boots to show how much she's grown and gotten bigger since her first AFO.

pink boots

on my facebook page I asked people if they had any ideas of what I should take photos of and one person said feet.  So when I took my kiddos to the park I took tons and tons of people's feet.  This one is one of my favorite of the day.  I love the pink boots and how she's running towards me.  It was around 10am and already in the 90's out!  Got to love the mind of a 3 or 4 yr old.

hand and boot

It was a beautiful sunny day so off to the park we went.  It's always great to see my kiddos running around and playing, wearing themselves out so they will sleep well, but sometimes T gets tired and needs to sit down and rest for a bit, being only 4 it's bound to happen once in awhile.  It's a wonder she ever sits down, the girl is always on the move doing something.  Being a hemiparesis has never slowed her down and I don't think it ever will!

I confess; I did set it up a bit, when she sat down I made her put her hand on her "boot" the shadows where oh so cool against her leg.

I {heart} faces challenge, you can check out other entries and see their photos of "anything but a faces challenge.

hanging shoes

Why do people do this?  I think it's neat to see...out of no where...there are shoes...hanging from the lines/wires above the road.  How do the get time up there?  :-?

walking shoes

This photo reminds me of my oldest daughter, Wolfie,  always ready to go!  I love the way the wolf looks a bit ragged and how it's front paws are in the shoes.  T just got them, she got them as a b-day present from her OT/PT.  I don't know if she's going to wear them....most likely not, like the rest of my kids she won't wear things on her feet unless we're out and about.  So Wolfie this one's for you.  I miss you.  oxoxox

Red shoes

If you didn't know, Edd loves red.  That being said, she has had these red shoes for over a year and she would wear them ALL THE TIME or as often as she could.  They got so ragged that hubby wouldn't let her wear then when they went out together.  They really got raggedy and I've been looking for some new red shoes for her with no luck...but I did talk her into getting some shoes like her favorite one only in black.  I made a deal with her that I would not throw out her favorite shoes, she just couldn't wear them out of the house.  She was happy with that.  BUT today she surprised me!  This morning she was hunting for shoes to wear to school and came across her favorite pair, she pulled them out and before I could get "you are not wearing those..." she told me that they needed to be thrown away.  O-MY-GOD!  No way!  This is coming from the girl who was crying when I told her that she couldn't wear them any more.   I had to photography them!  No question about it.  I am even thinking of saving them so in a few years she can come across them and smile when she see them.
What do you think?  should I save them or let the trash man take them?
