Don't you love going through corn mazes and seeing people trying to figure out how to get here or there or even how to just get out.  We went to Uncle Shuck's pumpkin patch and corn maze and had a blast!  E&T had so much fun running around to find the next number on the card to get them all.  And yes, I had fun too.  My daughter, her fiance, my daughter in law and their little kiddos can too.  Here a photo not of any of them but of people trying to figure out where the next number is....dude don't bother calling they're lost too.  ;-)

Went on a photo season with lovely Ms S.  here's one of the photos we took, she wanted a photo of her with my girls so here it is.  We had a great time and clicked like old friends.  She happy that I told her that she was beautiful and asked her to be my model.  E&T really liked her too.

I was lucky enough to be the photographer for my uncle's wedding and this is one of my favorite photos of the wedding.  You can see the love in her eyes as she looks at him along with the laughter that he seems to have a great knack to do.  Congrats Uncle Phill and Aunt Sue!

on my facebook I put out a shout out that I was looking for a dark haired beauty and this beauty took me up on it.  I'm very happy with the way they all turned out, the weather was great and the model is beautiful.  She was such a joy to take photos of.

last night in Vegas

okay maybe you could call it last morning in Vegas.  LOL  Yep, when the moms are away they end up staying up much later every nights. 

The really fun part is my mom friends and I ended up hanging out with some great guys celebrating this guys up coming wedding.  They were gentlemen and thought we were wonderful too. I took this photo after the guys final toast to us. It was amazing! He said... "May we someday be lucky to have wives be this beautiful and awesome. You ladies have set the bar VERY high for my future wife"  Got to love something like that for us ladies who been married for 10+ years and more.

Got to wonder why there is a pool security guard, until you realize that it's Vegas {baby} and people do lots of stupid things there.  This guy is a hoot!  he loved coming around and flirting with all the ladies ~and I do mean all the ladies.  He came by a few times to talk to us and was more then happy to pose with us or just pose for pictures.  This one is too too cute not to make it my photo of the day. :-D

got there the night before but my friend picked me up and she/we decided to go back and pick up the friends that were coming in the next day.  We had an hour or so between one friend and another and this girls made me giggle 2 very tall cute girls and in the middle was a short not so cute girl waiting on someone to pick them up.

I saw this truck while driving down the road.  I really wanted to take it's photo, but every time we stopped at a red light we were just to far apart from each other. It bummed me out; that is until I stopped at Wallyworld (Wal-mart) and noticed that it was there too!  It kind of makes me upset, the long and short of it is that when my ancestors came over from Europe they didn't really have a choice but to learn to speak English.  My grandfather told me that his mother who was from Poland wouldn't let him speak Polish at home, he had to learn most of it from the streets.  My Grandmother was never taught Danish even though her family came from Denmark and parents and grandparent spoke it all the time to each other.  She and her sisters were told "you are Americans you must speak English."   So ya, seeing something like this and stores that cater to people from foreign country it makes me a bit upset because do you realize how many languages I would know if my ancestors weren't told "you're in American now; learn English."?

Happy Frog

We went to the GA RenFest and had a great time took a few ~okay a lot~ of photos of people and things.  We even say a Scottish Santa Claus!  But there was this one thing that as soon as I saw it I wanted to use as my photo a day.  I follow Happy Frog and I and we've never met or probably never will.  They're in Reading, United Kingdom and I'm in Atlanta, Georgia....a bit of a drive.  LOL  Anyway....I saw this cute little frog and thought of them right away.  Ya, doesn't look like this little frog is from England but still you get the picture.

It's funny how the internet works; we're half way around the world, never met or even seen each other but as soon as I saw this little frog I thought of her.  Some days you just got to love technology! Makes the world a smaller place.

raffle tickets

So I posted on facebook all the 41 baskets that was being raffled off at my daughters' school.  I had 5 people from around the US and Germany (CA, MI, PA, MD and a sister station in Germany) who wanted me to put money on some of the baskets.  I put about $150 in ten different baskets for them and me, hoping that one of us would win.  I had to write my name on each ticket, did I mention that each ticket was only a dollar?  Lots of writing my name and phone number over and over again.  I also wrote each person's initials on a ticket, so BA wanted $35 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 35 times.  ND wanted $30 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 30 times, SV wanted $10 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 10 times and JB wanted $25 dollars worth of tickets I wrote her initials 25 times and can't forget ML in Germany who wanted $10 dollars worth of tickets on the American Girl doll basket, she said it was for her daughter.

GUESS WHAT!! my sister in MD won!  ~the bitch!  ;-)~ LOL~ She won one of the baskets I wanted.  Being the honest person that I am I called her up and told her she won.  She started giggle and laughing about it, even after I called her a bitch. LOL 

So since yesterday the photo was boring I'm posting photos of the tickets and the basket she won in and out of the wrapping...now I just have to get to the post office and mail it out to her. 

Don't you wish you won her basket?  Each of the 41 baskets has at least $200 worth of stuff in them and going up form there, up to $4000+.  WOW is all I can say!

I was driving home from clinics and followed behind this guy for some miles.  He's from Lumpkin County GA, drives an old pick-um-up truck.  On the top of his windshield says "19Sweathead67" ~whatever that means.  He's a bow hunter.  BUT the best of all I *think* his name is Billy.  Oh he does have a cell phone and I bet he hasn't really changed his hair style since the 80's.  The mullet in the back might have gotten shorter in the last few years, but still. It's a wonder what you can find out about someone when you're driving behind them.  Or the things you can make up about them as you drive behind them for a few miles and are bored.

a day at the park full of fun with the girls.  Took lots of photos but the one that stands out is as we were walking to the car a women pulls out her Saxophone and starts playing.  It was really cool to be serenade as we were leaving.  She was pretty good too!

The day before it was in the mid 70's and this day it got down in the mid 30's.   Got to give these ladies some kudos for being outside with their sons and grandsons while they played.  The funny thing is the boys didn't have coats on. I guess if you're not a 5-6 yr old boy you don't need a coat to stay warm outside.

not part of the party

We went to the park and guess who we saw?  Cinderella!  She was coming to be a guest at a party that we weren't part of.  AND since we NOT part of the party I would not allow them to get their face painted.  Edd had to tell the other girls who came up with her that they couldn't get their face painted either because of the same reason, but she did stick around to watch others get their face painted.  LOL  We did get her card so we can call her to see if she can come to T's b-day party and ask Belle if she would come to Edd's b-day party in Feb.

Went to the park today and boy was it crowded! There were so many people there it wasn't very fun.  But today I did something different for me....I took out my camera and took pictures of people and things.  I felt weird about it.  Taking photos of people who I didn't know.  This one is my favorite of the day, you can see the by the way the little girl standing she is thinking something like "Grandpa, I want to play.  Can we get this over with?"
