It snowed and snowed this day.  I really didn't want to go out in it but I wanted to get a lot of photos.  ya, that didn't happen either, I think I took about 2 or 3 photos.  I'm hoping that the next time it snows I'll get off my butt and dress warm and go outside and get some great snow photos. but this is still a cool photo of the snow on the tree outside my kitchen window.

It's true what they say about April showers bring May flowers but man it's cold out even the birds wish the weather would warm up!

two days after the snow

Two days after the big storm they wanted to play at the playground.  I love being able to see them at the playground that is until the tree gets leaves and then I'll be out there with them.  Remember when we were kids and we left first thing in the morning and only returned when we were hungry or thirsty and no one freaked out about it.  Ya, wish the girls could do that.  My older ones remember doing that too.  My how times have changed.

WOW what a differences a day makes

took this photo just about 24 hours later then the last one and OMG what a differences a day makes.  it was beautiful out yesterday but today it was cold, rainy and very windy!  The leaves are almost gone.

the leaves on the neighbor's magnola tree are so pretty that I had to take a photo of them.

a secret garden

saw this secret garden as I was walking to the post office in Acworth GA.  It is really pretty and when the day was as hot as it was ~in the 90's~ it still was a cool place.  I really need to go back and take photos of people here.  It's one of those romantic dreamy places in the heart of a small town that people forget that is there.

on Church street

This road must have had a few churches on it to be called Church street on well not so many.  This building also at one time must have been a church of one kind or another.  Now it's a (I believe) a reception hall of some sort.  It's a really pretty building the only thing is that you can't get a good photo of it from the street, it's way to high up, you would have to bring a ladder of some sort to take some photos at the front door if you were going to be the photographer for them...AND that tree is in the way.  Sigh the things I think of when I think like a photographer.  LOL

 It's really not about the sign but about the blossoms in the background.  The sign just makes it cool.  I think I'm noticing spring this year then I have in the past, must be all the driving I've been doing.

At least that is what I think they are.  They're blooming all over the place here.  Oh so pretty, that means spring is just around the corner!  Saw these two coming home from school.

trees

Coming home after a full day.  At a stop light look to the right and see these trees.  I couldn't resist taking a few photos of them to see if they turned out as cool as I thought they would.  The texture did come out the way I wanted!

Woke up to snow on the ground and the first thing out of Edd's head is "It snowed, NO SCHOOL!" sorry to disappoint you, there is school today. "Awwwww!"  it was pretty on the way to Marietta is morning.

dead pine tree

Coming home from the newest Clinic sight I was wondering what I was going to take a picture of.  I look over to my left and see this dead pine tree, pretty cool.  Yes I like to take photos of trees, dead or alive they are so neat to photography.

tree dancers again

Stopped at a stop light, look over at the dancing children sculpture and noticed bright red Santa hats on just a few.  This is the second time I used the tree dancers as a photo of the day 11 months ago.

Edd got something in the mail and I won't let her open it yet, she has to wait until Christmas morning.  I know it'll be worth the wait!

funky lights

I put my tree up and it looked good, but wait what that half the lights aren't working.  The top and bottom of the tree isn't lit up.  WTH! how'd that happen?  Guess I need to go out and get more Christmas lights...sigh

our Christmas tree

We put up our Christmas tree to day, the girls had a great time putting ornaments on the tree...in just a couple spots.  The questions that I have is why do kid put all the ornaments at one level and in bunches?  I took a photo of them in bunch before I put them all over the tree and one after.

tree in a parking lot

Was on the way to school this morning when I look to my left and WOW! look at that tree in the parking lot.  I've seen it before, but since it was really foggy out it make it look even bigger, cooler and a bit more eerier.

As I was waiting to turn left, I noticed that all the lines were vertical.  Yay, yay I know, so?  but I thought it was a cool looking so sue me for taking a boring picture.

light post

Ever read A Lion, A Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis?  There is a light post in a young forest and in the end they see the same light post but the forest has grown up around it, this reminds me of the ending of the book.  And if you read the next book in the series they see the same light post a 100 years later. Weird how somethings can bring back memories of things you've read years ago.
