did another session with Knitwit Knits and I have to say I love this photo of this one.  She really didn't want to get her photo taken she wanted to play with her sister and my girls.  But I have to say this is a really cute photo it shows her personally.

Knitwit Knits monkey hat

I did 2 photo sessions in 2 days and this little guy got to be the model for the sock monkey hat.  Knitwit Knits on Etsy does great work and the kids really didn't have a problem wearing them with the weather over 70*.

mr potatohead with hat

Since I left the hat on Mr Potatohead from the day before my lovely daughter decided that he needed a face to go with his hat.  And of course she wanted me to take a picture of it.

newborn hats

I made these little hats the night before.  They're newborn sizes, I used Mr Potatohead as a guide for the size, did you realize that it was the perfect size for a newborn hat?  Nope me either, until I turned it upside down and measured it.  About the size of a newborn head...score!  I've been making these silly hats because it help me to keep my wrist relaxed an flexible.  (I have a few if you want to buy one. LOL)

newborn hat

I been wanting and waiting for someone to let me do some newborn photos.  And I've been looking at how much newborn hats cost...OMG those things aren't cheap.  I've been asking my mom to make me a few but well it's kind of hard to get on her case to make me one when she lives 700+ miles away from me.  So because I'm cheap and I have in the past done some crocheting I decide to get some yarn and try my hands at it again.  Not bad for not picking a crochet hook up in a ~long, long~ time.

White Christmas in GA

It was a white Christmas in Georgia.  It hasn't snowed on Christmas day in over 100 years!  Edd thought it was great!  She couldn't wait to get out and play in it...I've been watching neighbors' animals and I let her come with me this evening, but before we got there she had to play in the white stuff.  She couldn't believe what great fun snow was; a snow ball fight, making snow angels, catching snow flakes on her tongue...that is until she got too cold.  ;-)~   What a great Christmas present for a 5 yr old.  I hope she keeps this memory for a long time.

cold July day?

It reached 100* in Atlanta today.  Too hot to play outside, but T said that she was cold?  WHAT?  Cold?  I keep it around 80* in the house just so we're not paying through the nose to the power company.  Cold?  How can she be cold?  LOL

Mom's knitted hats

First off my mom crochets and knits all the time.

Last year she made E&T some hats and they are just so cute.  I "stole" T's hat because it fit me better.  Just about every time I would wear it, someone would stop me and tell me what a great hat it is.  I told my mom a few times and being my mom she when and made a few then sent them down to me...so I have some hats to sell for anyone asks if she sells them.  They are cute and look great, but I like mine better.  So if you are looking for a new winter hand made hat that's a little different for every other hat let me know, I have a few to sell. ;-)
