Edd's tooth

So Edd had to get a tooth pulled because it was abscessed.  She didn't tell me or show me until the day before she had a dentist appointment.  Here it is.  some people would think it was kind of gross but she didn't.  She told me to make sure I put a picture of it on facebook.  She also thought that the tooth fairy is great, she gave her $5. for the tooth, not to shabby.

Lucious

Dog sitting this past week.  Had to take a picture of Lucious.  Doesn't he look sad?  He misses his momma and poppa.  That or he wants to play fetch and it's just to rainy & yucky outside to throw the ball.  Got to love Georgia red clay, makes EVERYTHING a rust color so we're not going to play fetch.

forsythia in a fence

I did a photo session and we went for a walk in the downtown area to take photos up a great brick wall.  After we parked the cars I saw this flowers ~I believe they're forsythia~ and they just looked so beautiful coming through the fence that I had to take a picture of them.  Oh spring may be in the air, it just doesn't feel like it.

my new purse

I've been looking and looking for a new purse that I liked, but I can't seem to find one anywhere...So I made my own!  I had something in mind and when with it.  Didn't have a pattern so I just did what I wanted with what I had and va-lia a new purse that hopefully I will use.  To tell you the truth I've never really been a purse carrying kind of girl.  But in the summer time I need something to carry my wallet and phone in.  What do you think?

T's eye

Little kids have a tendency to fall down.  When something is in their way and they're not looking it happens a lot.  Yep, that's what happen to T.  She wasn't paying attention where she was going.  She didn't see the baby doll crib she put in the middle of the hall and tripped over it.  She's okay and not really hurt but she did give us a scare. Next time baby look where you're going not were you've been.

Tt in her tutu

Just a couple days ago I was afraid that T wouldn't like the tutu that I made her.  Really there was no need for the fear, she loved it AND she wanted to wear it out and about when we went to the grocery store.  I love the looks that she got.  It was so sweet seeing her hop and skip around in her little tutu.  but before we left she was showing signs of having a busy day.  Here she is taking a little down time before we did a little running around.

turtle and a chalk pond

I was bored at the park just sitting on a bench watching them play and color with chalk, so I decided to join in the fun of chalk drawings.  T brought her turtle ~she's been bring that thing everywhere.  I thought it needed a rock to sun on and since turtle like water; why not make a pond too.  Oh and you can't forget grass.  LOL  yes, I told you I was bored.  Here's T's turtle making it's way to the pond after hanging out on rock.  ;-)~

I was bored so I made my beautiful daughter a beautiful tutu.  She hasn't worn it yet, but hopefully she will....And she loves it!

encouragment of spring

since it was the first full day of spring and there are something that just need to be photographed. 

Flowers, buds on a tree, the earth in general needs to be celebrated with the renewal of things to come. 

I figured that you might be getting tired of my flower photos so I decided to take a photo of my glass goddess again.  Bringing in the renewal of spring seems fitting.  And if you look behind her you can see the words on the plaque..soar, dream, hope, love and just a bit of the word explore.  All words of encouragement for spring is a good time to feel that you can do something great.

T's eye

I love taking photos of my daughters.  It also makes me happy that they call me over to take photos of them while they're playing.  I love digital cameras, the pixels are free!  Even if you take tons of photos you still might get lucky and get that one great shot!  I didn't have take tons of photos to get this one.  It was only the 3rd pix before she moved and I didn't see her face any longer.  Either way it turned out to be my favorite photo of the day.

full moon

I figured out how to take a shot of the moon!  You need a very fast shutter speed.  I had mine set at 1/4000 to get what I needed.  I think it came out really great.  happy happy.  It was a beautiful full moon.  I think I've said it before, but I do love the moon in all her glory, really at any time of her cycle.  She...is...beautiful.

think his name is Billy

I was driving home from clinics and followed behind this guy for some miles.  He's from Lumpkin County GA, drives an old pick-um-up truck.  On the top of his windshield says "19Sweathead67" ~whatever that means.  He's a bow hunter.  BUT the best of all I *think* his name is Billy.  Oh he does have a cell phone and I bet he hasn't really changed his hair style since the 80's.  The mullet in the back might have gotten shorter in the last few years, but still. It's a wonder what you can find out about someone when you're driving behind them.  Or the things you can make up about them as you drive behind them for a few miles and are bored.

milk bath

It happens a lot when you nurse your baby.  They look at you, smile and pull away than get a lovely milk bath.  Sometimes there's screams and other times there is giggles.  All depends on the mood of the baby.  Today it was smiles to his momma.

day before St Patrick's day

I wanted to make something for my girls to wear for St. Patrick's day, so the Saturday before I went to the fabric store and got them some green fabric.  I wasn't able to make it until after I studied and finished my finals (I passed both finals! Yay me!).  I was able to start and finish outfits in one day....with a lot of stopping just because I didn't feeling like just sitting down and doing it.  Instead of finishing it up in just 2 hours it took  me all day to finish them, BUT I did finish them and they were able to wear them on St. Patrick's day, the day of Green!

I was walking past my girls as they were watching TV and this is what I saw.  T said that she was scared and Edd was keeping her safe.  I wasn't so sure who was keeping who safe.  Love the way that they are each other bestest friends.  <3

light in foyer

As I was walking out of my daughters' room I noticed the light in the foyer.  IT was off.  Edd hates coming up the stairs in the dark, but since day day light saving time happened they are going up the stairs when the sun is still out.  That's why I noticed the light, it was off.  LOL

So the day before I got new flowers and my kiddos do love to pick them.  And since Edd planted some flowers the day before she decided to pick some and put them in cups.  This time she got fancy and put some in a wine glass.  I'm very happy it didn't fall over the edge.  But, you have to admit it they do look pretty in a wine glass.

When out and got new flowers.  the best thing is I didn't have to plant them, Edd did.  Okay so it wasn't where I wanted to plant them but they're planted and not sitting on the deck in a plastic bag.  LOL

 It's really not about the sign but about the blossoms in the background.  The sign just makes it cool.  I think I'm noticing spring this year then I have in the past, must be all the driving I've been doing.

too close to the road

If you didn't know, I like to take photos of cemeteries or at least walk through or look at them as I drive by.  They can tell so much.  This one makes me kind of sad because she's buried very close to the road.  I don't think her parents had that in mind when they buried her in 1947, I don't think Marietta was very big or busy at it is today.  Hell, I don't think they had it in mind that they would most likely out live her when she was born in 1932.  Jackie Lee was 15 when she died, makes me wonder what she died of.  And now her resting place is only a few feet from the road.  I wonder if anyone thinks of how close to the road she is.
